Lifesys has a feature that allows facilities to send ORU back to the HIS/EMR/CIS.
For facilities who integrate LifeSys with HIS/EMR/CIS, and whose final reports do not come across the system:
Look for the Send HL7 ORU field on the report page. If this is not available on the report page, check our video on how to add a field. If this not within your account's scope, contact your PACS Admin or one of Lifetrack's technical specialist.
After which, make sure that the Send ORU on final is checked. This will automatically send the report back to the HIS/EMR/CIS once the study is placed in final status.
If the checkbox is not ticked initially, you can manually send the report to the HIS/EMR/CIS by clicking the Send ORU now button
